Having partnered up with Hennessy for over 6 years, our deep understanding of the brand is vital when collaborating with artists. This time, we worked with Hennessy and Felipe Pantone to create one of the most daring limited edition of the brand to date.

Artist edition

Continuing a long and trusted partnership with Moët-Hennessy, we develop 2019's Very Special limited edition in collaboration with world-renowned and pioneer artist Felipe Pantone.

Following Felipe's visit to Cognac, discovering the Hennessy world from its deepest roots, he connected the similarities between Cognac making and his own process of "Remixing the Present." He then created an exclusive art piece for Hennessy, which became the starting point of our team's quest for inspiration, resulting in the next Hennessy V.S artist edition.

Working alongside Felipe Pantone, we conveyed his inspiration into a bold presentation across the Hennessy V.S bottle and its secondary packaging.
On one side, we had to perfectly respect Felipe's art piece while ensuring that Hennessy V.S core brand identity remained intact and impactful on the packaging.
The project required a great synergy and teamwork, encapsulating the true essence of "co-creation". It's a delicate balance that we successfully achieved, supported by a long-lasting relationship with Hennessy and understanding of the brand.

The result of this collaboration is an eye-catching presentation, which genuinely elevates the brand through a contemporary and hypnotic offer. We disassembled the art piece, drawn new details, reinterpreted and intertwined all graphic elements to reach this remarkable design. It features vibrant colours, embossings and contrasting play of matt and varnish finishing, it conveys one of the most daring expressions of an iconic worldwide Cognac brand.

Following the massive success of this edition, we were called to go one step further and create the "Collector's Edition".
The brief was as clear as unusual. Joining forces with the artist, to create the most exceptional art-piece, commemorating Hennessy's artist vision at its best. 
We imagined a super clean shiny white PET box that, once open, reveals to the consumer the whole world of Felipe Pantone. At the centre of the experience, the consumer is invited to build his own art sculpture around a customised Hennessy V.S bottle printed with the latest digital technologies.
Released at only 70 pieces, the carafe stands on a pedestal in the centre of a grid of moiré-finished rods that buyers themselves place, move and interchange to alter the bottle's optics. 

As a piece of configurable art, the Hennessy Very Special Collector's Edition by Felipe Pantone reflects the continuous movement of the world around us, inviting people to participate in shaping its form.
