Cognac has mostly been focusing on traditional consumption and perceived by consumers as a sophisticated drink to be usually enjoyed after dinner.
With its perpetual approach to innovation, Hennessy X.O is pushing the boundaries further by encouraging consumers to think differently about this iconic product and experiencing new versatile drinking experiences.
Through deep testings and analysis, Hennessy X.O is showcasing its leadership by merging this exquisite spirit with ice. They are offering consumers four ways to appreciate this elegant fusion: X.O on Three Rocks, X.O Diamond, X.O on a Tea Rock and Hennessy X.O Over Crush Ice. A surprising fusion of heat and cold, forming the perfect union by awakening dormant senses and aromas.
A new drinking experience that our team proudly translated to an innovative packaging design, taking the consumer discovery to the next level.
On its own, Hennessy X.O is a sensorial experience, but the addition of ice elevates this drink, bringing hidden facets to the front. We translated that intimate interaction into an innovative multilevel packaging made of multiple layers of folded carton on top of each other.
The result creates a packaging with incredible depth and embossings never seen before on the market. Each layer is highlighting a different finish, from matt black and shiny silver to bright gold foil, giving the feeling of a whirlpool of flavours blending together. Beyond the gift box, we enhanced the innovation direction by conveying the Hennessy and Ice experience through a new metalised effect applied on the Hennessy X.O decanter, resulting in a truly unique and luxury crystallised bottle.
